New project PS13 build

Well now the BMW is built i need something to occupy some of my free time so picked this up thurs night (another late night road trip to Mayo lol)

will get pictures up during the week but basically the shell is well known.

Dan's old PS13 drifter. Barney

only a bare shell really at the moment but have a s13 for breaking so it will donate all the parts needed

plan is to build it as a road legal drift car because shell is tested till 2012

parts I have at the moment
completed a set of jic coilovers (thanks robbie) today,
dished 17 works wheels
all supension parts and dash from doner car
have a s14 engine sitting there too

now only question left is will I stick the 180 front on it or not hmmm hmmm hmmmm

sounds sweet dude. presume itll be an sr20, what turbo you be running? ill swap fronts if ya like any pics of the beemer, turbo e30 right?

Ah the front isn't complete. Bonnet is half broken and one wing damaged, and no bumper

oh the e30 is another thread lol. It's just BMW shell really absolutely everything is S14 on it and running SR20det

Well this is well overdue an update and i thought i may as well do it all in one go besides putting up a few photos at a time, apologies for poor quality of some phone pictures

So the shell as i got it, trying out wheels even before its rolling


Started stripping what little was left and couldn't help trying on sideskirts




Up on the spit for the tedious job of fully seam welding














Treated to some underseal, you'd be suprised how simple it is to do and what a difference it makes to tidy it up.

Subframe painted and built back up, then got some shiney bits to get tracking and camber set up properly







Rota GTR's 18x9.5 all round



Decided to go the full whack while it was stripped so moved the rack forward on subframe



Played around with the idea of a 14a front on it but decided to scratch that idea
