Here i have the smallest sub from this brand. Its a 10" DD 510

You still get the hand built, high performance quality at a price within every budget. The 500a Series was designed to optimize performance from amplifiers in the 100-400 watt RMS range. Not everyone is going to try to crush their tonsils with the latest bass-jacked MP3, but that doesn't mean one should have to settle for lower quality parts or design.
The 500a series woofers benefit from the highest quality parts available, close production tolerances, and hand built quality as do all DD woofers. The motor and moving systems have been designed to get higher efficiency from lower powered systems. We found ways to reduce mass from the cone, surround, spiders and voice coil which raises the efficiency on a given level of power. The suspension stiffness and excursion capability were carefully dialed in through many real world test samples. The result is a very fast woofer capable of delivering surprising output from modest power sources.
The 500a Series feature multiple layers of durable cloth in the spider system, our exclusive laminated lead wires into the spider layers, double laminated half-roll surround, non-pressed cone and a motor system modeled after the 3500e Series woofers. The 510a and 512a are very easy to use in vented, TLs, and specialized band-pass boxes and are the perfect presents in gift boxes. Now there aren't any excuses to get anything less than a DD system in every car.
We recommend to allow at least several weeks of playing time to break in DD Woofers, full break in may take many months. DO NOT play subwoofers at max amplifier power in the first couple of days, give the suspensions a chance to loosen up. As the suspension breaks in, the subs will play lower and louder.

After you give the woofers a chance to break in (you'll know when this happens because the woofers will be playing lower and louder) you can start to look at port changes to alter the sound to your personal taste and your vehicles acoustic loading conditions.

Box is made by myself and is tuned onto 33hz and 1.5 cuft + port

Sub have seen around 30 min of playing, have a transport box here and receipt for 147 eur here.
Got it last year from DD dealer from Belgium as you cant find this brand in Ireland.

So the sub needs to "break in" around 20h at least when the better sounds starts to come out of it, like the same with all the subs.
