I recon ill be late for my own funeralfinally got the car ready,everytime i set a date or say ill be out for this event i ran into problem both transmission wise and other small shit,,,,but finally shes just about ready.
the first thing i had to sort was a transmission issue as everytime i took it out i broke something,
FIRST THING was a new 2 way diff and a big thanks to stevo for sorting me out at a good price
NEXT was the half shafts,i fitted skyline shafts they should hold(i hope),
THEN i fitted a OS Giken tripple plate clutch kit.
Then finally my biggest issure was the gearbox issue,i just finished developing/making the conversion kit for the 300zx box and hope to have that fitted thursday as ive to make a prop.
Then suspension,i fitted a new set of TEIN SUPER DRIFTS coilovers,AND A TRIP to WKD IMPORTS for some suspension setup,A huge thanks to WEZ ive got my car setup in a few places and even by few PD drivers and i have to say the car has never handled the way it does now me and wez bounced a few ideas around about setup and from expierence and set it up on on his Hunter tracking machine(known world wide as one of the best machines to set up race/drift cars on.)Wez knowledge and understanding was exceptional and i owe him a huge thanks for the job he done,i would recomend him to anyone,
Engine/Tuning
The engine i just gave a good servicing incl all the gear oils/plugs/oil ect,i then set about remaping the car today,im still useing e85 and with 1.5 bar of boost at the min she is an absolute animal,hopefully more boost tomorrow as long the injectors allow me 2,gave her a wash and hopefully ill have it ready for punchestown,
Bodywork
i will be purchasing 50mm wide arches after UDC drift elite and maybe a vented bonnet.
