Could be a boost leak causing overfuelling, happened to me lately. Easy to check anyway.
*edit* Just saw on your other thread you have exhaust, bov, boost controller etc. If you're just talking about a few pops and bangs then it sounds normal to me..

if it has a bov its jus that causin it to back fire cos it be overfuelin a bit
