    Default Options for upgraded turbo???

    As above whats my options

    car is a sr20 silvia..

    i want something that makes decent power but with good spool time

    what are my options...nothing to over expensive though..
    as the pocket isnt as deep as it was a week or 2 ago

    what have you got at the mo? T25 or T28?

    if its a T25, T28 is the first step up after that your talking €€€€ for supporting mods

    t25 is the s14 tubby isnt it?.
    thats what i have...standard turbo

    as for mods i have
    mani
    elbow
    down pipe inc decat
    cat back
    walbro pump
    550 injectors (not fitted yet)
    z32 air flow meter (not fitted yet)
    power fc(not fitted yet)
    oil cooler
    etc etc etc

    hks gt-ss

    go 4 it, hardly any lag and well able for 340-350fwhp on ur setup

    there a great little turbo and with your mods you'll have around the 350bhp mark...

    hks gt-ss dont make that much they rated for 320bhp at the crank an 290whp

    jus get a t28r if you want 320bhp region or a garret gt2871r if you want more power

    no1 ever go td05/td06? were in the process of fitting a td05 to our calibra. the port spacings on evo/opel/silvia manifolds is near identical, so an evo mani with an sr flange would be easy do. a td05 can be got for less than 100 quid. and can push over 350 on an evo engine. and a td06 will go well over 400. hard beat that.

    "RATED" exactly..... well my car is running 340bhp @flywheel with 390ft/lb. thats at 1.1bar. . . with a gtr (smaller) exhaust housing. ratings arent gospel. i realise gtss is rated to 320 but in fairness most tuners are pushing 340-360flywheel hp.
