oh and you said its a black top, there's two types of blacktop.. is it the bent cam type or flat? i you get what i mean, at the back of the rocker cover does it slope off or stay flat lie the shape of the redtop rocker cover?

i have it lined up with the dot on the right and wen it gears with the cam it lines up with the dot with the yellow on it and it lined 100% and i hav spark so does that mean that my cas and ignition amplifier are ok i just tryin to rule everything out would my ecu be fucked or would i have nothing at all if it was gone

was the engine cyl1 at tdc when you fitted the cas?
is it turning over and just not starting? or are you turning the key and getting nothing?
check your compression, you need fuel, spark and compression to get going.
the 1.1mhg will have raised your compression ratio but not by anything to stop it starting.
i like stuff
the starter is turnin and i gettin spark and i gettin fuel i'll do a compression test tomorrow mornin and i think #1 was at tdc..........if i take out the cas and then take out spark plug out of #1 stick in (a chainsaw file) and turn engine manually till piston #1 comes to tdc which is when (the file) is at it's highest point line up the cas again and stick it back in should it be a1 then

Try run it on a bit of easy start will give you a good idea if timing spark etc is right
