nope she should still fire
check fuses and earths,
see if the ignition amplifer is connected after having the head off its a black box on the passenger side with two grey block connectors

the fuel pump may be whining be you mightnt be getting fuel
make sure your lines arnt crossed, once theres fuel and spark it should
fire, double check all the loom is connected after that i can do no more
the pipe from the filter should be going to the injector rail and the fpr is a return, pain in the ass alright
you cant pull any pipes off the injectors cause there is none, they pick up the fuel as it passes through the rail. if you pop off the fuel pipe (not the vacuum/boost pipe) that attaches to the fuel pressure regulator (which is at the front of the fuel rail), and let it drain of a bit, then give the ignition (key position which gives you your dash lights etc....) a quick flick you should get a burst of fuel, this will tell you that all is ok fuel wise because thats the return back to the fuel tank. can you get a lend of an other cas (crank angle sensor) off someone. sounds very like thats the problem.
just thinking there now, what thickness metal head gasket did you put on there? if you went thicker than you should have you wont build up enough compression in the cylinders to fire. just out of curiosity, you don't have to answer but why did you put on a metal head gasket? the different thicknesses are to cater for correcting the compression ratio when running stroker kit and the likes....

fuel filter line attaches midway along the fuel rail and is the fuel in. fpr is where the out or back to tank line starts.

shit forgot to put the word rail after injectorha ha and as for why i put on metal head gasket was i had a bent valve and head was off so said might as well put on a decent one i put on a cosworth 1.1mm mhg... can i ask u why u think it's the cas? it broke timing chain i replaced chain it started but had valve bent.. i took off the head fixed it put it back together timin marks set up (2 black links and gold one) i think now could the cas have broke my chain
wat u think and sound for the help much appreciated
were slowly getting the full story here, anything els you might have forgot to mention???LOL
i suggested your cas because it picks up the timing signal and tells the ecu which cylinder is at top dead center and the ecu then tell your igntion amplifier which cylinder to fire on at that given time. if it was fucked you would have no spark at all because the ecu would get no signal from it. but you say you have a spark. you say the cas is lined up propperly? there is a very specific procedure for lining these up properly and then fine adjustments are made once its running so as your car isn't runing my guess would be that its not set right.
