    I would think a jz or rb would be too heavy and ruin the good stock handleing factor of the rx7's....Plus it would be hard to make engine mounts ect because the steering rack is in front of the crossmember...just said id add my thought

    If you think that expensive you must think the whole conversion will cost 2/3k , if you to 1jz/rb26 the fd id guess it would cost 6/7k min .

    I priced this conversion for my own RX7 ages ago, as soon as I hit 10k I stopped adding it up and forgot the idea...

    James is running an SR20 in his, not sure of the spec but I'm sure he could fill you in, there are loads of lads on here that would be able to fit it for you...

    Well maybe James can jump on this thread again and fill me in... I hear James had more issues with his seating position than the engine...

    I assume that I could salvage some parts from the 7 too... i.e. Apexi Power FC, Intercooler, piping, turbo, wastegate etc etc....
