air bag light

fitted a sparco wheel 2 a 180sx and now hve the air bag light on cse of the clock spring is out how du i get it off that it will pass the nct??

no it wont pass...
just had a similar thing with a friends car today...
he pulled out the bulb and when they checked it for the airbag..
didnt come up so they failed it..
NCT are after getting very strict the last few weeks

There's a guide for this on the SXOC site, i used it for my s14. The airbag light comes on and goes off like it should. Dunno if it's the same for a 180 but worth having a look anyway.

can ya not just take out the light??

The light has to come on and then go out again when you turn on the ignition to pass the test, as far as i know.

stick a holy sticker where the light should light up and take the bulb out...

if they say anything about it just tell them its your religin and they cant doanything about it.

i mate did and it worked. that was before christmas thou
