    Bit more progress today.

    Gave the rocker cover a lick of paint and fitted my Turbosmart external wastegate;

    Took a break from the engine bay then and pulled the dash out to get ready for fitting the cage.

    Might try and get all the cage bolted in next and then finish the engine bay and get it running.

    Right bit more done, the rad and intercooller are now mounted up:

    I am very happy with how it ended up as I was able to fit it all basically in the engine bay, I only had to trim the front panel slightly to give a bit more clearence for the cooler. I won't have to worry about smashing the intercooler off anything now and will also have very short pipework so that should hopefully make it a bit more responsive.

    As you can probably see in the pics I was able to mount the top fixings of the rad and intercooler with a plate that doubles up as a cooling panel which was a nice little touch

    You can see the brackets I made up for the bottom of the intercooler in the pics and I also mounted the rad further back on the tension rod brackets so it is a very sturdy set-up now!

    I fitted a few more bits around the engine bay and have ordered the silicone joiners I will need to make up the intercooler pipe work and the intake pipe as I will be running a Z32 AFM so once they arrive I can get on with them.

    I think the only other thing I have done is fit my D-Max downpipe which once I 'massaged' the floor a little fits A1 and since just nicley above the chassis rail so I shouldn't have to worry about that scraping

    Really can see this coming together now which is giving me the enthusiasm to keep going and get it done which I hope to have done sometime this month!

    Wish me luck!
