Great day. But as usual judging was a JOKE!
The superlap scores were a shambles.
And in the top 16, some really good drivers were put out because of favoritism.
Its getting really annoying at this stage.
They need different judges each round.
Because it really is a case of who ya know, not how good you are.
    Which is so unfair.
On another note the sound system was fuckin awful!

Darren qualified first on saturday and then hit the wall hard on his second run. He did his best today but the car was about a foot shorter on one side causing it to steer like a shopping trolley, I think its fair to blame the car for his two spins in top 16.

Overall I think it was a brilliant event to start the year off.You can never keep everyone happy and to be honest I didn't agree with some of the judging either but I know how hard it is for PD to even get judges and I respect the lads decisions.

I dunno what was up with the crowd but even in the pits there seemed to be very little going on, i think its due to only 16 cars being around on sunday. Saturday was absolute madness with cars everywhere and there was a great atmosphere around, maybe have pro qualifying on sunday morning instead ???

Driving was superb, so many lads have stepped up their game big time and although James was amazing today I think he'll have his work cut out to claim another title.

I know there was some words had at the drivers briefing about lines and walls etc, how do the rest of you boys feel about all that as I only spoke to a couple about it. Do you prefer running close to walls out wide ?. Would you have preferred there to be no passing so you could run the walls and just have to follow the lead car instead of defending your line or deciding to make a pass ????

What about spectators, which would you lot prefer to be watching ???

Another reason why the spectators are dying out is the price of entry to see it,20 euros like, come on! in fairness most people see it once and thats enough for them, only the die hard crew stay following it,a lot of people had no interest in being there today,as it was said before there was no roaring or support for drivers which is a pity,i think drifting grew too quickly in ireland and its starting to go downhill, great opening event but it will be interesting to see how the rest of the year goes.

Definately bullshit judging no driver knew what to do, some drivers took the inside line and were punished for it and then some runs were the total opposite i just think the whole event was all over the place.

Deffo have pro qualifying on sunday, its a bit hard to swallow a trip half the length of the country and paying €20 to see 16 cars!

its a 50/50 thing really, as cool as a pass is if its on a shallow line its not as exciting a two cars close to each other on the wall but at the same time i dont want to see a lad binning the car either

lad if you dont agree with the judges that means they are wrong because you actually know what you are looking at.... Like in all fairness some of the calls in the top 16 were a joke. It was bad in past years but today was a whole new level of unfair, its terrible to see such a good sport with such talented drivers being brought down by bad judges.

Fact, well said.... It is a fuckin joke, every year most drivers complain and yet noone says anything about it.At the end of the day the drivers are putting the money in 'prodrifts' pocket, or is it 'profitdrift' as what it seems now.......
