    Default 180sx not running right

Wel Lads! my 180sx isn't running right and was hoping that ye could give me some advice!

I was driving (granted abit sideways) down road the other day when I lost power. I pulled in and the car seemed under pressure just ticking over. It was idling between 500 and 1500rpm. When I reved it it wouldn't go over 4500rpm. When I put it into first gear to see would it move, it did but wouldn't go over 1500rpm.

I thought maybe the boost pipe had pulled off but checked and couldn't see anything off. Now I think its the afm. I have no way of checking it until I get one from my mates 180 tis evening.

What else could be wrong with it if it isn't the afm?
    Any help very much appreciated!

Sorry im probably gonna be f**k all use, but I guess if its running and its not misfiring as such then its prob not a fuel system or ignition issue. Dont know the first thing about AFM though. Maybe a pipe has come off somewhere?

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

Things have gone from bad to worse!

Got a afm from a mate and stuck it in Saturday but then when I tried to start the car it wont, it was turning alright. Put back in the old afm but same thing wouldn't start! Thought it was flooded so left it till morning and pushed it down a hill but no go! Its back at the garage now. Theres spark, compression and petrol but still wont start!

anyone got any ideas on whats the problem??

id say its flooded now lad pull the plugs out of it let them dry off, put them back in try it for a start if it doesnt then check to see if you fuel pump is cutting in when you turn on the key first the pump shud run for a few seconds to prime the system then cut out
