    Default 1JZ Part I.D.

No im not trying to start as many threads as possible lol, im just curious. MAny thanks in advance!!

What is this and what is the significance of it being broken if any please?

What is this right in the centre of the screen? When I collecting the car the guys said it had something to do with fuel pressure maybe? (they wer struggling to explain it properly) Anyway they somehow checked it and reckoned it wasnt 100% but couldnt replace it in time.

"its cool i guess, but where are the other 2 doors?"

ok fred! the object in picture 2 is your fuel pressure regulator part number 23280-46020

pic 1 the part has no name listed but is part number 90925-01059
i'v included pics from my car for you, in my car it has a tee piece going to my dump valve. the unit beside it is the standard recirc valve which you'll see blanked off in my car

    i hope this helps!

It sure does thanks. The auto electrician who had my car said they tested the regulator and it wasnt working properly, so im assuming thats helping to worsen the issues!

I pm'd you so you know, lol, i ordered the stuff from Toyota. With the regulator I want to be sure its ok now. Like I got an ECU from a standard car up north, turns out it has a fault in it.

And weekends are a no no for me for the minute So i wouldnt be able to pick anything up. I might be calling you with stupid questions though

    Thanks again, i appreciate it

I think the first bit you should get is this one

cos that missing would be affecting the vacum feed to the fuel pressure reg. Is there a hissing of air coming from the open ended pipe on the manifold side?

I have no idea to be honest. Im not quite a master of mechanics yet haha. If so then maybe thats effecting the performance of the fuel pressure regulator.
Ill have those bits by the end of the week, and I have ordered new connectors to plug the loom into the coils and a new coupling/whatever its called, the joint in the prop half way between the box and the diff, the rubber bit is now tired looking.

F**k it, its time I got it sorted once and for all, its been sitting around for the best part of 5 months. Thats 3months of tax and 5 months of insurance wasted, nearly €800...
