sr20det loom/ecu ???

right guys i got a new engine the other day its a sr20det blacktop out of a s14 but my old engine was a s13 sr20det redtop

i have the redtop loom/ecu and the blacktop loom/ecu is their any way that i can make a good loom out of the two??

or what do i have to do??

you can run it on your redtop ecu and loom just remove vtc sproket from s14 engine and run a sprocket out of 13 engine

were abouts can the sprocket be found??

you'll see a bump on the top right handside (as you look at it in engine bay)

Whats the black top loom and ecu out of? is it the later model s14 the engine is out of?

you'll see a bump on the right handside (as you look at it in engine bay) at the rocker cover

but their is also 3 different plugs on the inlet mani at the top beside the injector rail.
would you know anything about them??

also would you have the sprocket out of a s13 engine ??

im not to sure i think it might be the later model.

the loom ecu and engine came out of the same car.

@fmd Or you could wire up the vtc solenoid seperately get your car mapped and have the added benefit of it.

If you looking at the front of the engine, on the rocker cover dose the left of it extend to you a bit. Any pic of the engine?

why dont you use sprocket out of your old engine???

ya ull have to wire in ur idle control valve they are different
