e85 on sr20

The price this petrol is gettin chronic. Is it worth converting to e85? Obviously cheap fuel is main benefit, and cleaner smoother running, is mpg reduced that much? Whats involved? Heard bit bout alcohol friendly fuel lines and pump needed. Bigger injectors for the higher flow. And remap for timing and air/fuel ratio,s. Is that all thats to it? Any advice would be great.

Come next year E85 will be government levyed to bring it back level with 95/98ron if not more expensive!

They didnt tax it for the first couple of years in order to encourage the use etc!

Def need bigger injectors, bigger pump, fpr, larger fuel filter and mapple ecu. And more again if you want big power.

Converting to e85 is good if you want power, not to save money.

On fuel consumption its simular to petrol on easy driving but once you put your foot down its a very different story
