Brakes are about changing kinetic energy into heat, hence big brakes=big thick discs, his setup is a FAIL, first corner ok and no brakes then.

Hes building middle engine Audi 80 Coupe. So far as i know 2.2T 5cyl version.

Right this idea is stupid whats wrong with the brakes on the car ??
If you wanna lighten the car get carbon fibre,fibreglass parts,etc.
They will lighten the car !!
I would rather die in a car with good brakes rather than dying when i hit the brakes and they break !!
How is any other driver gonna feel when this lad breaks his brakes and smashes into you ??
