what ever about putting the calibers on the discs wouldn't be up to the job of stopping/slowing a car going into a corner.
The obvious problem is that the disk being so thin, will overhead almost instantly as it hasn't got the metal area to disperse the heat. That is assuming that the outer friction part of the disk does not brake off from the center hub part as the connections would not be made for the stress of of a car, roughly 6-7 times the weight of a bike!!
And as for fitting bike calipers to car disks, that can't happen either as bike calipers will be made for bike disks which again are usually only 10mm approx thick even on the biggest bikes. Car disks will be 3 times that usually so it wouldn't be possible to fit the caliper over the disk.

I mean here, is there any Prodrift regulations for building a car ?
I know there are for the safety and things, but for the whole car ?
Even if it was a bad idea and not regulated by the rules, how you keep these ingenious out of the track ?![]()
jesus chirst. is this a wind up?
if its not and someone is dumb enough to try it then they deserve to be in it when it all goes horribly wrong
i like stuff
jesus christ some people take weight reduction way to serious, im all for makin a yoke lighter but why would ya bother wit the cars orignal brake set up ok maybe bigger brakes ya fine but bike brakes is this guy mad can imagine him entering the first bend wat a disaster waiting to happen
