    Default Sr20de to sr20det

    Postin for somebody

jus a quick questin regarding the differences between the turbo and non turbo sr20 engines. can you simply stick a turbo onto a non turbo engine and maybe upgrade main and big end bearings or are the pistons and rods different too?? also would you need to upgrade the oil pump etc to cope with the new turbo??

the head has to be changed too to allow for the different compression.

der is a gud few differences between de and det. the det has oil jets for pistons bigger oil pump lower compression due to different combustion camber bigger injectors bigger inlet valves aswel im sure it is possible to turbo a de so much easier to drop at det in
