Default bottom end in a sr20?

I'm thinking of going looking at an 180sx with fucked bottom end bearings..would it cost much to put it right? it'll probably need a crankshaft cause the lad that owns it isn't the smartest and probably drove it for a bit with the bearings gone

It would need to be inspected to see exactly what damage is done.

Usually, a regrind of the crank, some new main/big end bearings and thrust washers would usually sort it.

There would be no point doing the above without a new set of rings and give the block a hone anf flush etc.

See here for an idea of whats involved...
