door lock question

im fixin up my skyline at the moment so i can get rid of it soon.

the drivers door lock doesnt work, when the key is in the lock it just turns left or right, theres no movement inside, no bite like.

anybody know if this can be repaired myself? maybe if i take the door card off?

is it hard to take the door card off?

if i remember theres a few little screws at the bottom and the side, then pop it off, iv a full door here if you break anything

its prob a little bar that go's form the barrel to the lock should be s simple fix bud
