steering weird sound?

as above when i turn the steering from one side to the other there is sound like a spring pinging or breaking, on a s15 there is extra steering lock on it if that makes a different

have you coilovers in it ?

my last yoke used to do that from time to time after i put in coilovers

i know this car and its deffo the coilovers,we recommended new ones at the time but was left alone,new coilovers is the way

or pt some grease on the movin part them it'll fix it temp
