screamer pipes on sr20 whats your view

thinkin of gettin one of these just off the elbow on a stock t25 turbo do they sound shit on tick over as iv read from other forums but i cant understand how when the wastegate is closed anybody using one at the minit?

think il just get one for the sneer ha its a cheap way of pretending your running a big turbo also slightly gay do doing it for that reason lol..

iv one on my car it sounds like a tractor on tick over as said, i put one on the bros car (hpi) i spend ages welding and grinding the spilter between the outlet and wastegate it still sounds shit ideling but cool when flat out have one for sale if you want one 80euro as new was trial fitted to a car then removeed

you will be more disappointed with a cheap one because the tolerences are terrible and they sound worse cos more gasses escape on tick over. maybe like a massy with no exhaust

i no fuck all bout massys but have heard one or two before

also the cheap one go thru gaskets much more often than high quality and the bolt up faces tend to b pretty shocking, again poor tolerences hence they are cheap

there is a reason chinese stuff dont come with names on it

I personally am not a fan of them. I rather the hum off the SR20 at idle and on full shoe! But I guess different people prefer their cars to sing a different tune, but no harm in trying one and see what you think!!!!!!!
