Depends on what level your drifting at. My standard handbrake in the 180 is great, locks up solid in a straight line
Edit: Do you mean hydraulic handbrakes?
Hydraulic ones? ive never had one. there damn good when there installed properly, but loads of people fail at doing so. The cheapest option is making your oem one work well, its what i have and i love it! works grand. I had one of those spin turn knobs in the handbreak in the ae86 and the cefiro but i dont like them..i like having the mechanism for some reason!
You on about hydro's or the driftworks spin off button![]()
Ì hav a fly off,i use it all time mondello no bothers same thing kinda awkward to compared to a hydralic one, just ordered one with a wilwood master cylinder so happy days, wit 427bhp you need some sort of stoppage![]()
Basically i just wanted to find out is it any use me a newb getting one like is it a step up or would advice getting good with the original handbrake first
i have a flyoff handbrake i dont like it really would rather a hydraulic handbrake
isnt it just a button that disables the fixing point if you release the original one?..
Same as if you had the original button always pressed in, no?
