1983 jdm turf burner

Late last year I was searching through all the auctions sites in Japan for some thing unusual, not quite knowing what I Was looking for until this popped up. It's a 1983 Toyota mark 2 Lx65. Basically an 80's chaser with a 2.4 turbo diesel engine. When I seen how clean the car was I had to have it. Paid more than I wanted to but I was more than happy when it landed in November 17.

Plans for the car from the day I saw it was to get it low with a nice set of wheels.
While I was waiting for it to come from Japan I decided to search yahoo auctions for some wheels.
Couldn't decide on a full set so I ordered a couple of different pairs of wheels, going to run mismatch wheels on the car for the minute.
I got Ssr Mk3's in 14" x 8.5j in as new condition
Ssr mk1's 14" x 8j in ok condition, they have some curb rash /imperfections
Ssr mesh in 14" x 7j in very good condition
Hayashi streets in 14" x unknown width (8 or 8.5j at a guess)

Car landed in November 17 and I couldn't get over the condition of it! Starts on the button.
Next up was to sort out suspension.
I ordered custom front coilovers with camber plates from technotoytuning.
Rear coilovers are the same as Ae86 so I ordered them off mcnsport.com
They should have the car sitting nice and low.
Hoping to get all in and fitted in the next week or so
