Default Nissan Laurel C32 (Double Trouble)

If it wasnt bad enough that the Cefiro is an ongoing labour of hardship I ended up with another project (or 2)

So after my wedding my wife said that I should treat myself to something nice. So I was having a look through Donedeal and I spotted an add for 2 Nissan Laurel's up the north. Now I had spotted the same add pop up loads of times over the last year on Donedeal so I decided that I would go for it and get them. Lucky for me the owner was able to deliver both of them to me as a was having a hard time finding someone with a jeep and trailer.

Anyway they finally landed up to the house and I was more then happy.

My wife did always say that I just sit around on my Laurels

Rite so here's the story with them. The Northern Laurel has a L24 engine, manual gearbox, towbar, AC and a really nice interior. The Southern Laurel originally came with a L24 engine but was replaced with a LD28 diesel engine with an automatic box, boring interior, digital dash (ftw) and from what I can see only surface rust. Both cars have independent rear suspension, electric windows, electric sunroof, headlight wipers, electric aerial, electric mirrors and the absolute selling point for me was the voice warnings for when the fuel level is low or the lights are left on or the keys are left in the ignition when the car is off.

Around 6 years ago I bought a C32 Laurel that was actually full of rust so I sold it on but it was always one of those cars that you regret selling the moment its loaded up onto the trailer. The southern Laurel is in really good condition, verry little rust so ill be putting the L24 and all the best bits from the other Laurel into this one. I pretty much want to keep this car totally standard as much as I can.

As for the other one, who knows what'll happen with that!!!

Ill be posting videos of the progress of how im getting on up on YouTube.

The only way forward is sideways
