Default Jzx100 cresta revival drift build.

In line with the build tread revival post I saw of FB I thought I would post up as some people might be interested. Having spent a year living and drifting in Japan I fell in love with the jzx chassis I knew I wanted one to use as a drift car over here knowing 1jzs very well at this stage and knowing the ins and outs of setting up these cars to skid I was sort of looking for maybe a rough standard one or something suitable to make into a track car. with the serious yoke lad trd spec chasers making big money i keep my eyes open and came across this.

Had been hit hard in the front but was really just before the subframe and I knew it could be straightened easily enough. Had all the good stuff r154 orc Twin plate supposedly a kazz 2 way and of course a nice 1jz up front.

Here it on my friends chassis jig.

Pulled straight and chopped the front off.

    Capped chassis legs

Mock up of how i was going to start with the semi tube front

Some pics of the car assembled with a chaser origin +55 wings and origin bonnet. I'm planning to run the chaser front while I source replacement cresta parts from Japan. At first I liked it but now I'm not so sure. Cutting up the cresta wings seems wrong and will be nesscary to accommodate the extended LCAs and lock knuckles.
