Big job on. Long story short, i had no radio reception, 3 speakers weren’t working, power antenna wasn’t working and the radio was just crap before and I loved the AppRadio I have in the 180sx. I can’t justify buying a second one for the Silvia so I said I’d transfer it over, while tackling all the other jobs too

The old crappy front speakers had to go. They were ripped and all that. I know they’re a factory option but we need to be reasonable too. They’re getting the bin.



I bought some new speakers a while back:


I also bought some speaker brackets from the states a while back too. They line right up and took another headache away for me.




As well as fixing some wiring I also got the power antenna working again. Such a lovely detail and of course it does wonders for radio reception

That head unit suits the s13 interior so so well.
