    Default S14a Project

Hi guys new to the site and just started a project of my own. Might as well make up a build thread as I'm going along. It's going to be a long one!
First I got an S14 non turbo shell and also a few bits with it too to get me started.
This is what it was like a few weeks ago before I picked it up. 12721859_1061452063914748_1367545816_n.jpg12721941_1062419447151343_822683477_n (1).jpg12895452_1062419473818007_1090996399_n.jpg12900171_1062419483818006_942128343_n (1).jpg

s15 BB turbo with mani, elbow & braided lines

All Driftworks arms for the rear - Lca, camber, toe & traction
    Powerflex Subframe Polybushes
    Japspeed Solid Diff bushes
DMAC full Braided brake line kit

These I've picked up as I've went along.
Subframe is off getting sandblasted and powdercoated black.
Eventually should be a road/show car but will be doing drift days like Autoheroes as well. Won't last too long as a show car knowing me.

Over the next few months I will be on the look out for a lot more parts. Pm me if you have the following but will be a while before the funds will let me go further
    Parts List:
Sr20 VVT Engine - must be heard running and good compression across all cylinders
    Sr20 gearbox - no crunching
Coilovers - must be like new no knocks or bangs
    Hydro with .625 cylinder
2 way diff - must be tight
50/50 rear lights LED or not i don't mind
    550cc injectors
    z32 air flow with filter
Alloy rad with fans to suit
Front mount intercooler with all piping - BOV included if possible
External wastegate - no ebay scrap

Like I said this will be awhile coming together so will only be picking up bits as I go.

    So just a small update.
Decided to get the rear subframe ready for powdercoating. This meant taking out the bushings a steel collars. Safe to say I wont be in a hurry to do it again it was just horrible. The bushes burned out fine but even with a torch, the collars were an absolute c$*t to get out.
Got there in the end so its gone not to be sandblasted and powder coated here locally in Shannon.

Il update as soon as i have the new Powerflex poly bushes and Japspeed solid diff bushes in.

Good too see more koukis getting put back to glory, I'v a kinda daily-kinda project going on with my own as well.

What do ya make of the quality of the vertex kit? And it may be a bit late now but a hacksaw makes the collars a million times easier to get out plus it saves smashing your hand with a lump hammer 46 times

Use photobucket to upload your pics, makes them easier to look at. Nice project.

The only way forward is sideways

I will try with the next photos. I've never used photobucket before but will give it a try. Thanks guys. The plan is to build it and have it really clean for a while and go to shows and then bring it to the likes of auto heroes and drive it like i stole it
