    Default 180sx brake setup

    i am looking a bit off advice on what brake setup to put on the rear of my 180sx its a road car non abs 5 stud, the standard rear callipers are seized am i better getting new single pot callipers and better discs and pads or go down the skyline or z32 route. any help appreciated

    depends what you want to do. lots of original s13 brakes are pretty good, but upgrading to s14 or z32/r32 brakes is easy as you're already 5 stud. Really depends on your budget to be honest. I've seen people go to the effort of getting z32 brakes and realising that the limitation wasn't the brakes themselves but rather the handbrake cable. Cheapest route for you is to get new calipers. send off the old ones for a cheap refurb and sell them on to recoup some of the cash.
