Looks like a good base to start out with your dead right to get it all mechanically right then worry about styling and power.

Thanks mike. Yea getting the essentials right I suppose, don't really want to get too caught up in the build just yet.

Was just checking out your build there, that looks like a fun build. Is it still ongoing?

    Small update on the wasp:

As stated above, sent the car up to petko to get some small bits done and just get the car generally looked over as I am currently working in the UK and just don't have enough time in the weekends to do any work. Up she flew onto the lift to get a brand new intercooler which is bigger than the old one and actually has pipes that fit so hopefully the boost pipe issues are now sorted. Petko also installed some new tie rods and track rods to help in achieving some much needed lock.

So......as per the norm of motorsport, things didn't exactly go to plan. As AutoHeros preparations were coming to an end on Saturday, the guys noticed some small indicators of some issues that could cause a massive headache down the line and even more likely, the following day on track. So after a detailed discussion, AutoHeroes was scrapped and an engine rebuild was decided. We believed that if a full season is going to be attempted, some reliability and above all, peace of mind is necessary. Especially as we don't know the history of the powerplant itself. As the wizard has quite a lot going on in that shop of his, I didn't exactly give him a whole lot of breathing space to have the wasp ready in time for competition but if theres anyone to pull it out of the bag its the Pepster.

Sure we'll give it a go.
    More updates as they happen.
