have been using it in my mkii for the past year without an issue, about 330bhp

you can get adapter plates and custom flywheel for the bmw box, you can then use a standard bmw clutch also, you would have everything you need bought for 1k

Agreed, at 2k would be far more sensible to go the bmw route, at least there's spares out there when it blows.
