Thangs are slow atm with the rubbish weather. Still not starting great. In need of a new battery too. The interior is saturated and getting mouldy. Any tips on how to make that better? Dehumidifier?
I Plan to fit the front wide arches soon and make the car more functional.

Are your seals around the windows leaking? Is your soft top ok? It shouldn't be leaking that bad unless one of your seals are gone.

Ah yeah the roof is fucked. A new one is on the list. I'm just wondering is there a way of drying out the interior?

Dehumidifier and leave the fans on hot and take it for a drive. Try and get an outdoor cover for it in the meantime!

A friend had an old e30, he used to do that but leave it sitting for a few hours with the heating on full blast and the dehumidifier. It worked but he used quite a lot of petrol letting it sit running all day.

I use kitty litter in a pair of tights to keep the car from getting damp when its parked up but i have a hardtop so the damp is not to bad. Also has to be kitty litter with silica

Nice one haha I think I'll need a dehumidifier though, my carpets are saturated.

Finally in the dry. Working on it now and then and trying things to get it starting. Going to tidy up some bits on it like the front arches. Clean up the interior and all

    You'd miss buying car parts!

    Still cute though.

I miss when things were n/a and simple!

Did a compression test on her.
Should be between 100 and around 120 when the engine is cold. 1 cylinder was 100 and the rest were under 50.
    Fuck.

The Internet says that sometimes piston rings can get stuck if the engine was sitting up for a while, which mine was. I think maybe a new engine is in order, one that was proven working. It'd be less hassle than trying to figure out if it's the HG or rings or valve seats and I'm getting fed up now.
