so went on dd today and found a sunroof casset so went and picked it up. 50 euro nothing wrong with that! then went over to valderrs (think i spelt that right) and got strut braces while i was up that fat.

so got to work and got my old one out

was a long job be well worth it to have the sun roof working.
went and checked what battery was in the car to see if it needed to be changed soon or what and it turns out its a new battery in it

so got to work and treated all external rubbers, door rubbers etc to keep them all good and got a bit carried away and cloned the bay a little bit while i was at it

so coilovers have arrived and should collect them monday or tuesday

was still idling bad so took the maf out and tried a different maf from another 323i and the car just died straight off. so went to take the borrowed maf out and found this

thanks for all the helps at the meet lads

also the crankcase breather pipe is cracked to. so new pipes ordered trough super4

    this is a temporary

also one my c02 sensors arrived (only 1 is gone but decided probably be best to replace both) stupid DHL didn't deliver both together even tho tracking number has them both in there hands at the same time.

right so new break lines are in

co2 sensor waiting on second one to arrive. rang dhl as they have it over a week now and said it will be out without 48 hours with some lovely words from me and a lot of apologising from them

heres the coilovers, collected them yesterday. was going to put them in today but uncle managed to break a spring in his car so that was moved up the list

so my windows, central locking and sunroof have been playing up and stopped working completely last night. went trough all the wires going into doors and boot. there all grand. interior light fuse was blow replaced that so looking like the body control module. going to go scrap yard tomorrow and see if they have one unless anyone here has one?

so bit of progress today, got a Body control module so everything working as it should, was nice little job to get to it

and new c02 sensors are in now to

so got the front coil overs in to while had the front jacked up

lovely sunny day yesterday so didn't even bring the car into the shed

    Nose down arse up..
    hopefully get rears in tuesday

so got a bit more done today, rear coilovers in and short shifter in. it makes so much difference!

    new v old

was wondering why one side use to sit a tiny bit higher

will get shots of the car when its all settled and the hight i want. also needs a wash now to

Some braided lines to go in. Lsd is in didn't take any pics tho!
Hoping my intake pipe and crank breather pipe be here this week from @super4 (thanks cab) and then she should be nct ready I hope!

got a weighted clubsport gear knob for it. really makes it change gears so much smoother with the short shift and feels so much better
    sorry for dark picture

so the nct were happy with everything but my ball joints on the front so i took the wheels off and had a look around myself and thought while I'm changing them i might as well do it right and change some other parts in there to so went out and got this today

well got a good bit done today not many pics but will get them some other time

front wishbone with new bushings/balljoints etc
    track/tie rod ends
    braided lines on front
    pads and discs on front

so after about 1000+ miles the discs are still the same colour and look great behind the wheels imo

work been done since last update

rear arches rolled to get rid of that nasty lip that loves to catch dirt on these and re sealed of course.

10mm h&r hubcentric spacers and extended bolts on rear

going in monday to get the back arches and doors re sprayed and any dents taken out of the body work

fallout remover worked great and brought the wheels right up as well as removing a lot of iron from the body work.

    BEFORE

    AFTER

rear 1/4s and doors painted , rusted and dents removed

got exhaust on today. the sound is unbelievable so so good

then got home and found this had arrived!

no time lost fitting it just changed the bits around to suit me

Bought a sunroof cassette down in Wexford from Dave on site. Green sunroof lid with white headliner. The defuser bar that sits up when sunroof is open was a tiny bit rusty so started tidying it up today
