    Default e36 convertible v8 goodness

Hey lads and ladies, been on this a while now but haven't been so active.Anyway I decided to throw up my build.
Mainly doing this to make sure I see it finished fully and don't start using it in anger and decide it's grand how it is.

I bought this car a few months back because I wanted the hardtop bumper and a few bits and bobs for my road car which I intended to use for practice days.
Anyway my imagination got the better of my and I decided to build a separate track car.

So I picked up a bmw v8 and 6 speed box.
Plan is to keep it simple and use mostly standard parts so hopefully it will be reliable and keep me smiling.
It's down with gripfab now for the main work to be done cage, fit engine, wiring and the likes.
Once it comes back il take most of the bits to finish it from my road car and leave that fairly standard.

    Cheers man

I hope to have it done by October once it's back it's just a case of swapping stuff from the road car into it.
Won't be much to update for a few more weeks.

Should be a fun yoke to drive especially on a good day with the roof off

    Gathered up a few bits

Powerflex bushings for the rear subframe diff and trailing arm.
These really transformed my last car so stick with tried and true parts
Obp .625 cylinder and hydro really like the fact it has a latch to hold it locked
Replica OMP deep dished seems like a strong wheel
    255lph fuel pump.

    It's an m60b40 from a low mile e34.
I love the look of them especially with decent wheels and stupidly low.

Used a jap speed rad for a s14 along with samco reducers nice tidy job.
E34 headers modded 2" stainless back joining together into 2 and a half inch pipe. Serious sound off it decided against a back box purely because of the sound it made. Will be able to run very low as the exhaust is well up out of the way.
Hydro in along with all new copper lines.
Switch panel in and my dash cluster is replaced with a tacho, water temp gauge, charging light and oil light.
    Cobra seat and rails in
Wiring is nice and simple 5 fuses and a couple of relays located behind the switch panel.
Crash bars front and rear in.
Fair bit left for doing and it will take a fair bit of time because work is mental.
Need to get a new power steering pump because the engine came out of an odd ball e34 that uses a steering box.
