    Another minor update on this.....

The oem style boot lip spoiler I'd bought has since been sprayed and fitted. Really happy with the fit and really adds to the subtle look I'm going with

Also seen I was in need of new pads and discs for the front of the car as mine were in a bad way. Heard my friend still had a brake kit from when he broke his car. It's a DB POWER big brake kit consisting of bmw m3 modified 330mm grooved and vented discs, caliper relocation brackets, oversized ebc red stuff pads and r32 gtr front calipers

Me being me couldn't fit the discs looking like that so I tracked down a bottle of bilthamber deox c and left the discs steeping overnight. All I can say about the result of steeping is wow. Discs were removed looking as new

    Update continued below

To prevent the discs rusting again they were rinsed off with water and dried off then tidied up with a little black paint and they look great I think.

Difference between my factory discs and new discs

Also picked up a r33 gt-t twin pot rear brake set up this morning as my car has n/a rear brakes and currently running with a sticky caliper. Will fit these tomorrow and that's pretty much the chassis side of things complete

Awesome car man. The wheels are so nice. Those work center caps are so nice. Really want a black set for my Xt7s but they are so expensive. Seeing them on yours makes me think they would be work it though. Brakes came out amazing too. Assume this would only work with steeping so you have to take the discs off.

carried out the same process on the rear twin pot brake set up as i did on the front in terms of tidying them up..

overnight steep in a bucket of bilthamber deox c mixed with water

this stuff makes an unbelievable difference with little effort just a quick wipe once or twice during the steep to aggitate the rust

i cleaned up the rear calipers by jus cleaning with some brake cleaner then painted them up in silver and painted the nissan lettering in black

fronts needed painting too so just done them the same as the rears

since fitting the bigger brakes the factory brake lines are almost being pulled tight so ordered some 520mm braided lines from pro-line motorsport in the uk
