hi lads-
heres a build thread of my 1978 opel kadett coupe project
i had another thread but its now missing

this was how i got her

new boot

with the other one

new wings cut for arches

facelifting the pre-facelift bonnet

boot lid done too

springs and shocks bought from Germany..not cheap at all.

along with Manta B axle

new rear chassis legs

banded wheels

big rear disk conversion

rear a.r.b. mounts made

big 2.0 vectra calipers with audi 80 disks up front

braided hoses

roll cage time

then it was engine time!
so i bought this heap...

and an ae86 geaarbox

spigot bearing

engine fits in perfectly with a slight bit of modification to the bulk head. gearbox was perfect length too!

i just built the ae111 Levin clocks into the Kadett cluster

now sitting on her own mounts that i made up

thanks! ah i doubt itll be done this year... hopefully for summer 2015 though. cant wait to bring it to retro stock

class work there. love those old kadetts i miss mine. like what ya did with the clocks aswell
