any man good with apexi power fc's?

got one for the 180 and the bitch wont start with it plugged in now...
ill get it mapped properly on a rolling road when i get it started,

tried clearing it and going on just a base map but no good

would the imoblizer in the car not recoginse it and then in turn not let it start?

came out of keith weldons 180( the big spec black one in dublin)

Is there a setting on it for different Air Flow Meters? try selecting the one you have in the car. Happened to a lad i know.

What 180 have u? Red top an black top pin outs are different u may need to change around some pins on the ecu plug!

mines a 97 so shes black top....

There is 2 different type blacktop ecu's. I think late model is j4 and early model is e4. Check your original ecu and then cross reference it with the model no. on the power fc.

ya mine has j4 on the standard ecu,,, must see is there a serial code on the fc

Have you an immobiliser in the car? If so you will have to remove it from the wire loom

Zenki Red top & Blacktop are the same

Kouki 96-98 is different

Iv just put a blacktop zenki power fc into my PS13 which is redtop it works.

Saying that it is possible to re-pin your ecu plug to suit it has been done but extra brain ache.

I think theres something with the 02 sensor aswel 2 or 3 wire but you may not need that with the pfc tuned .

realistically id be better sticking in the standard ecu and bringing the car to a mapper and letting him set up the FC for me from scratch??

whats the going price range for a remap...prob head back to WCP in kerry

Not sure on Map price's it will vary anyway.

The main thing would be to get the ecu plug repinned and at least starting .

Alternatively let them do it but thats going to cost extra aswel.There is diagrams out there to do it
