Get good steering tyres. When things go hairy you rely on your fronts a hell of a lot more than the rears. I wouldn't spend a lot on rears. Not saying you should go get cheap crap, just pick a price point and buy the best you can get at that point... I wouldn't want to be spending more than 80 quid a rear tyre. probably more like 70 each. But good fronts i'd pay 100-140 each for easy.

That said i'm running 4 ditch finders on my s13... but with 120bhp i don't have much to be worrying about right now
