Default Red RPS13 never ending build

On this lovely boring Monday evening i said i would put up a build thread on my 180sx

So in march 2013 i seen that Dan moorhead was selling a unfinished project 180sx when i went to see it he let me view it on a lift and it was spotless underneath but on the outside it looked worse for wear (when my girlfriend seen it she told me it belonged in a scrap yard) haha
    Spec is basic enough
    Mint 180
    Non vvt sr20
    Fmic
    Fuel pump
    Vented wings
50mm quarters new rear arches tubed
    Origin rear bumper
    Origin side skirts
    Uras front bumper

but anyway this is how it looked when i got it

After a few long weeks of gathering up parts and money we had her looking like this, first thing was to take off the 50mm quarters and put on 30mm ones and moulded them then we got working on everything else, a few pics of it when it was primed

    A bit of paint.

Down on the wheels i picked up for 100 Euro! Stich evolutions

I drove it for a while like this about 3 months i think and i put it into storage in December 2013 , while it was in storage i done a few bits extra to it

    18x9.5 Rota Grids
    s14 front brakes
New disks and yellow stuff pads
    Kouki rear lights
    Uprated manifold and elbow
    All new turbo gaskets
Bleed valve it is boosting at .8 bar
ORC super single plate clutch and flywheel
    Cusco 2way diff
    Lazy eye kit
    25mm spacers all around
    Rack spacers
tein track rods and tie rods
    5 stud conversion

how it looked when it came out of storage

Was happy enough with the car for a while but i wasnt gone on the colour of the wheels so i got them painted white

Next was a touch of the lowering stick..the only picture i got of it on K Sports

Two weeks after i had a encounter with a ditch while i was doing what these cars are made for going to fast while going sideways to close to the ditch!! Was lucky enough tho that the only bit of steel that was bent was a tie-rod and it was just the fiberglass kit that was ruined..

    Sur thats rallying!!

    Since i crashed it i
bought a brand new front mount intercooler kit
    bought a shortshifter
bought a kouki under garnish for the rear lights
    fully polybushed the rear end
fully sealed underneeth(including bringing underneath back to bare metal, priming and stonechipping it painting every arm individually and painting the petrol tank

no more pics for now but il have some up dates soon.

    Thanks for looking

Hoping to have it back on the road for donegal in june Diarmuid , working really hard on it now to get it done!...

I took the turbo off to get a few bits done and while i was putting the oil bango bolt on a sheered the thread ! FML

So we whipped the engine out to helicoil it, which truly is a horrible job. When i had the engine out i decided it would be a good time to paint the bay, so i nearly have it stripped now to start prepping for paint

    More up dates soon
