this probly sounds like a ridiculouse question but is it safe 2 start a car with no gearbox on it...i have the box off and i need the car started just 2 check something before the box goes back on!!

how do you plan to hold the starter against the flywheel without the gearbox in place?

thats noting got 2 do with the question i asked...i simple asked is it safe 2 start a car without the box on!!
