You must have serious patience! My heads melted just looking at the wiring diagrams but it's a great help as I'm currently planning a 1J or 2J conversion at the minute and this has given me a great confidence boost. All I want is for it to drive so seeing what you've done here makes my idea look like a filter change

Cheers dudes. Been busy for the past month, so nothing has been done on the car. But I did make some progress since the last update...

    Flywheel arrived

    And fitted

Bolted the box up. Struggled a bit with the clutch release bearing. The ACT clutch came with a weird release bearing spring. Ended up using oem w58 spring.

Then I thought, fuck it, might as well drop it in. When in Rome...

    IS200 propshaft, straight fit. Perfect!

Clutch lines connected and bled. Not keen on fuel line location. Will be relocated when I run braided lines.

Shifter location is spot on. But the angle of the mk3 supra shifter is shit. Got a gangster lean. Will be chopped and modified to be straight at some point.

All piping hooked up. Idles like a beast, neighbors love that shit!

Still a few minor issues with bleeding the coolant system. But I'll get there. The rad is lower that the hose, so a bit of an airlock present. But there is hot air coming from the heater.

Hooked up the rest of the wiring. Alternator is now charging. Reverse beeps and hopefully the speedo works as well. Havent tested that out yet. Just need to tidy shit up now.

The cleanest engine bay ive ever had

I did drive her for a few meters while pissing PAS fluid everywhere. The difficult part is done.

Just a checklist for my benefit:

    Buy/connect PAS lines
Make fan shroud, fans and coolant expansion bottle
    Exhaust
    Relocate battery into the boot
Run braided fuel lines with proper bulkhead fittings
Tidy up wiring & get tacho working properly
Crash bar and oil cooler mounting
Straighten out the gay bent mk3 supra shifter

Then she should be ready for a shakedown

Remember counting the spend so far a while ago. Off the top of my head it was coming up to £4k for all the bits that have been put into the car. Reckon it will be 5-5.5k all in by the time its finished.
