So is it threaded?
I got a DW toyota one and it wont fit my Mark II, its too thick. And it seems the opposite thread to the handbrake. My handbrake looks like its reverse thread... Any chance you could measure the exterior and check the thread?

Is it reverse thread or normal??
right, its normal right hand thread.... think they all are anyway..
outer diameter is 14mm
thread is 5mm. i threaded a bolt into it, and the thead is 5mm so try a 5mm nut on ye'r threaded part in the handbrake an u shud no if its right...
25 euro, its new and wat i paid...
