E39 530d sport needs engine

Have my pride and joy for sale down as 2 litre on book so cheap tax car was fully resprayed white a year and a half ago proper job cost me 2500 has no nct but have fail sheet it only failed on handbrake adjustment which is fixed now . Has 2 new rear tyres got front discs and pads and rear pads 2000 miles ago car is a manual also . Went through a flood and the engine went was driving perfect before that have engine sourced for 300

How much keith? is it a good engine?

@owen is the car ok otherwise? what sorta mpg will these do, i'm doing 45 miles each way to work so no short journeys? i need a diesel as the e30 is costing me 100 quid a week on petrol!

Ya it's grand only failed the test three weeks ago on handbrake adjustment which is fixed now I was gettin around 40mpg
