if it was the tappets mate id expect the noise to b constant

Id deffo say its the big ends,have killed many an sr because of these

Rebuilt my own lad changed all the bearings mains and rod bearings an new trust washers crank wasnt marked which was great. dont no wat it wil cost ya to get it done
