The 28th and 29th of june will be the most insane weekend of drifting ireland has ever seen! with drivers from all over the world coming to Mondello to try and defeat the irish on home soil (the irish have never been beaten at home just in case you didnt know!) this is shaping up to be one epic weekend of driving!

so far the line up consists of

DAIGO SAITO!!!!!!! (Mg Crash Repairs 800bhp 2jz altezza)
ROBBIE NASHIDA!!!!!! (Mg Crash Repairs RB26 s15)
Dean "karnage" Kearney (Mg Crash repairs RB25 s15)

    Declan Munnelly (Mk2 escort)

    PLUS MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED!!!

With a brand new track layout that has never before been seen in competition at mondello, which im told will have a few suprises,This is really not one to miss!

So what do you guys think? whos your money on to win? do you think ireland will stay undefeated? Apparently the second Daigo heard no one had ever beaten the irish, he had to come over a take on the challenge! are you excited???

Just awesome tbh... all the stops have been pulled. Fair play to MG Crash Repairs!

With j.deane, j.shanahan and n.colfer at driftallstars I think if M.ffrench has the car in good shape he could take it..also with s.o'sullivan or jp.mc carthy could do it!

I think Mckeever will be another man that will put up a serious fight!...If Paul murphy drives like he did at round 1 he'll be very hard bet too,The level of competition is sick, which makes it more unpredictable and more exciting! It really will be a milestone for irish drifting. I would love to see a semi pro driver take out a big name, and stranger things have happened, semi pro is full of top class drivers also, not to mention the rookies!

And now Matt Powers. This is gonna be awesome.
I don't know if IDC can get any better after this round, Ennis will need something serious to be anywhere near this.

That's crazy!! However Matt will have a serious job to beat the rest of them...he'd be a wildcard bet in my opinion. Dean Kearny will be the only "international driver" with seat time in his car..which could work seriously in his advantage..not only that but he's battled with most of these guys before so will know there style/habits..there's your round 3 winner possibly...damn I'm excited for rd3!

It seems a pretty level playing field really once you consider its a new layout that nobody has competed on before. The Irish guys might have had a bit of a play on that section heading back to the start line for round 1 but wouldn't have been paying attention to how the cars drove on it. Either way it's going to be an amazing weekend.
