Thread: Hi from Dublin

    Default Hi from Dublin

    Hello all,
my name is Chris, I am from Dublin. I am the owner of a 1997 JZX100 Chaser tourer V, I imported the car last July. I was originally looking for an R34 GTT saloon but I couldn’t get over the fact that in 4 door variety and no body kit it just didn’t look good, on the other hand the Chaser seemed the more complete 4 door sport sedan, the more I looked into them the more interesting they became. My last 2 cars have been JDM also, a civic and a Mitsubishi FTO but am happier with RWD and TURBO. This seems to be a great place and I hope I can contribute. A few bits of bodykit got nicked on the way over from Japan and I am only now getting the car back on form, Just ordered some side skirts and will be getting a proper lip for the front and rear.

Thanks for the welcomes, Greg I remember reading your build tread a few years back, your car has really transformed in to something special.

Welcome aboard, looking more at chasers of late. They seem to tick all the right boxes

Cheers Chris. Kinda wish I had left it alone as its not a comfy cruiser anymore like they should be. Yours is a perfect base to make amazing, just keep it cage less.

Well its my daily driver for now as like you said its big and comfy but there is so much you can do to these. I have to look for some sources to get stuff from Japan, I have mostly used Tom at Titan autoworks as it was him I used to buy the car at auction.
