    Default s14 coilpacks

    Update my post:
So, it seems the coilpacks are gone...
tried to start her, its turning over but not starting. we checked the (new) spark plugs, there is no spark at all.
checked the coilpacks with the multimeter (all of them), power is going through them (12 V) so am I safe to assume that they are gone?

would make sense since she was parked up for a while too?

    old question:
not sure if im going to need them but in case i do, where do i get quality ones for a sr20det? driftworks dont do them for s14's, ebay looks not genuine and google only brings up Us stuff?

any idea or good brands to recommend?

Have you checked that the ignitor chip is ok?

how would i do that? (besides trying another one?)

but if there is power running through the coilpacks, the ignitor must work no?
if not, then i would have assumed its the ignitor

As far as i know ignitor works off ground signal
I would try another one before spending 300 euro on coil packs.
Seems very unlikely all 4 packs are faulty
