e36 wishbone modding question

Hi just going modding my wishbones. Can anyone tell me the best length to extend them without going with e46 ones please??

35mm is about the safe length really that most are happy with. Make sure you bring them slightly forward too especially if you've moved the knuckles back on the hubs a fair bit or the track-rod end ball joints will hit the wishbones at full lock.

How far forward Dave?? 5mm??? Was going to use other wishbones to add my length to keep it tidy or and strong
