That's an unreal watch, wish they would make more stuff like that. You'd really feel for him but at the same time he seems happy in what he's at. Would love to see him getting a podium sometime.

I wouldn't say he's happy. He's still there for the love of the sport. Seems so disheartened by the American take on drifting but keeps at it for the love of the sport. And he's dead right. Trust "Merica" to take a sport that is purely about fun and turn it into something that is so competitive now that the enjoyable side is no more and the traditions are forgotten!

I wouldn't go to FD if it was in my back garden but as he makes out in the film, it's like a gateway for amateurs. He didn't envision it as the be all and end all of drifting. Without it people might never know what drifting is and might never get into it. There always needs to be a top level and the progression in it will always filter down to the lower levels. It keeps it alive and it makes companies want to get involved and develop and sell more products to the general market.
