Rx8 Road Car, Yes another Rx8

Sooo I'll keep it brief for the handful of people who read this part, what we have here is another run of the mill rx8, but when im finished with it it should be far from it.
This isnt another project like my mini or merc this one I'm on keeping all in one piece.
My plans with this are as follows, engine swap coilovers wheels body kit. So basically low and wide, like all good cars.

I had a few different engine swaps in mind,

Yes I wanted itb's but sure you dont allways get what you want, so I bought this whole setup.




So considering Im collecting the engine set up next weekend i had to make a little room in the engine bay of the rx8. So taking out the engine was on todays agenda. This is what we started with.





A few hours later we where left with this.





Striped all the shit off the engine just because I wanted to, for a small engine alot of shit came off it.





So thats it for now, be about a week or so till the next update. Il keep ye posted.

Soo I got a small bit done on this today, since the rx8 had a 13b in it from factory I presumed the new 13b would just fall back in to place but i was wrong.
It doesnt really fit too well at all, everything is either hitting, too low, too high or too wide. The main issue is clearance between the front bottom of the engine and the steering rack. I should be able to fiddle a bit of clearance tho!
Other problems are the turbo needs to be moved up and out, its not exactly a massive turbo (garrett t04e) but it would NOT fit next to the engine and inlet manifold is buried in the firewall and the abs pump is right in front of the intake so that may have to go! On the upside the gear stick is exactly where its sapose to be.
I still have to squeeze in an intercooler oil cooler and rad in the engine bay, this wont be too easy.
